Identifies, investigates, and reports suspected fraud or abuse against the Company and/or its customers. Supports internal business partners and presents anti-fraud training as needed. Gains and maintains technical competence through continuing education and training. Establishes and maintains external network with industry peers and/or law enforcement. Participates in special projects as assigned.

 

What you do:

·  Investigate allegations of fraud or abuse against the Company and/or its customers.
·  Maintain appropriate investigative caseload and meet established metrics/Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations.
·  Report investigation findings as mandated by state and federal regulations.
·  Answer GOSIU hotline as needed, providing coaching to business partners and send quality referrals.
·  Deliver anti-fraud training to internal and external business partners across the enterprise.
·  Establish network with business units, industry peers, regulatory and law enforcement agencies in order to identify new schemes and detection needs.
·  Gain and maintain technical competence through continuing education and training.
·  Participate in special projects as assigned.

 

What you bring:

·  4-5 years of experience required; insurance industry and/or investigative experience.
·  Two-year degree or equivalent work experience required.
·  Must hold active Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.

Travel as required.  Job may require periods of bending, stooping, sitting or standing.
