Internship (m/f/d) in Account Management / Global Sales
Temporary / Full Time
Supporting the Account Management team to project manage and onboard new business partners
Working with Account Managers on existing business partner contracts in run mode
Liaison with other departments including Legal, Operations, IT, Compliance, Finance and Underwriting on both project and run topics
Liaison with third party vendors
Understanding and codifying customer journeys
Participating in meetings with business partners and developing/ implementing action plans
Student in Economics, Business Administration or similar/ related subject
Enrolled at university for the entire duration of employment or on a gap year
Excellent English language skills (Business fluent), other European languages (German, French, Italian and Spanish in particular) is an advantage
IT skills - advanced MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel a necessity
Experience and Skills
Experience of b2b2c Sales and/ or customer Account Management an advantage
Knowledge/ experience of on line and off line sales processes and customer journeys in the Mobile Devices and Consumer Electronics/ Appliances sectors is an advantage
Knowledge/ experience of P&C personal lines/ retail lines of insurance business is an advantage
Knowledge or experience of contract law is an advantage
Able to work at pace in a dynamic environment
Able to operate on own initiative to tight deadlines
Affable and articulate - Outgoing with an ability to communicate concisely with brevity (both written and oral)
Cultural empathy- ability to adapt communication style to suit needs of colleagues and business partners from diverse multi-cultural backgrounds
Customer focused - goes the extra mile to ‘get the job done’ for the customer
Practical - prefers a ‘hands on’/ ‘sleeves rolled up’ approach.
Logical and analytical - Can interpret data quickly and form sound judgements to make recommendations. Can make sound decisions, within authority, based on factual evidence
Job start and duration: 9th October 2018 / minimum 6 months
