JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for all operations related to data collection and reporting for our International Employee Benefits schemes
Define, further improve and perform the client reporting for International Employee Benefits programs such as Pooling, Captive and Global Underwriting in alignment with the Product and Solutions team and in close collaboration with and by steering the Service Center in Bucharest, colleagues and the Sales team
Responsible for the collaboration and relationship management with Network Insurers and other relevant stakeholders to secure and improve data delivery and quality standards related to reporting topics
Work closely with PMO function to further develop Data Warehouse (DWH) setup and support and drive projects to build and enhance database(s) and reporting functionality within Allianz Global Benefits with technical experts and stakeholders
Complete data analytics as key driver to guide business decisions; interpret data into strategic and tactical recommendation and present results in a professional/compelling manner
Collaborate with main stakeholders such as Sales, Product & Solutions and Distribution to understand business needs and requirements
Manage and steer the Service Team in Bucharest to a high performance delivery
Ensure and drive a smooth working relation with IDS and AZRe accounting team
Oversee and manage operational and technical Pooling topics (e.g. Certificates / Reporting)
Support Sales Team in tenders, where required
Scope for potential mid-term development to become “Head of Global Data Team”
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:
University degree in Economics or Mathematics and/or professional qualification
Mastery of SQL, database structures and MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook) including expertise in Excel macros and graphs
Knowledge in procedures of data mapping, standardization and quality checks
Extensive knowledge of MicroStrategy and Oracle Databases and knowledge to their interfaces to other applications such as SAS or SAP
Fluent in German and English; other languages an Advantage

Experiences:
Ideally 3-5 years relevant job experience as data analyst or reporting expert
Highly organized and motivated self-starter with strong entrepreneurial thinking, who can deliver results with minimal direction
A solid blend of both business and IT solution design experience with proven (hands-on) experience in delivering end-to-end solutions (e.g. database solution architecture)
Proven analytical and number skills with a proven track record of delivering results and the ability to deliver results clearly to a wide array of recipients
Capable to prioritize and strongly engage with others to achieve joint goals
Ability to quickly grasp team needs and offer concrete suggestions above and beyond what they are asking for
Naturally curious individual with the ability to quickly become an expert in the various data and systems used by the team
Ability to work under pressure and independently while also being team-minded
Ability to resist stress due to quarterly deliverables and able to multitask with focus on speed and execution
Understanding of Employee Benefits Solutions would be an asset, ideally at an international Level
