JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your focus will be the solution architecture of systems and applications for the Client Reporting area. This includes, but is not limited to:

Understanding customer needs and technical requirements to develop an effective Client Reporting solution
Defining, implementing, and maintaining the Client Reporting solution aligned with the Allianz and AllianzGI IT-Strategy
Design and set-up of a new state-of-the-art Java micro service reporting platform as part of a small, dedicated and multi-national team
Creating requirement specifications for designed modules to hand over to the implementation partner
Direct responsibility for implementation of respective development projects
Contributing to the shaping of the platform architecture
Design and development of REST microservices based single page Web-Applications
Implementation with fast and agile dev processes from specification to deployment
Direct cooperation and interaction with business users
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Degree in computer science or related studies
Several years of professional experience as an application engineer or Java developer
Proven experience & knowledge in the implementation of software systems with Java 8
Experience & knowledge of persistence in Oracle database systems incl. SQL, PL/SQL and JSON
Enthusiasm for excellence and a strong "hands-on" attitude
Expertise agile methodologies and continuous deployment
Willingness to learn
Experience in developing JavaScript, Spring, JSP, Bootstrap and JQuery based Web-Frontends
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and German

Preferred:
Knowledge of in Web-Technologies like (S)CSS and HTML
Knowledge of creating automated tests and testing with Junit
Knowledge of state-of-the-art microservice architectures
