We are looking for a Claims Delegated Authorities Assistant (m/f/d), based in Munich or London 

  

Your Team

Our team is committed to facilitate relationsihps and arrangements with Third Party Administrators, MGAs and other Facility partners. We are dedicated to centrally support our Claims Business Owner in the regional Line of Business with this growing part of the business and by ensuring an efficient and compliant Governance process throughout the lifecycle of a Facility.  

 

The Impact You Will Have  

Reporting to the Claims Strategic Partnership Manager, you will support with the management of different types of Claims Delegated Authority relationships (e.g. stand-alone or MGAs) in various jurisdictions and from an end-to-end perspective in order to ensure compliance with both regulatory requirements, Allianz’ internal standards and Claims philosophy. You will work closely with the Claims Delegated Authorities Manager and the Claims Business Owners across different Lines of Business and jurisdictions and support them with the handling of various Governance and Compliance requirements throughout the lifetime of the Delegated Authority.  

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

·  Request and collect relevant documentation to screen third parties targeted to perform Delegated Claims Handling in order to ensure compliance to Allianz’ standards, Claims philosophy and legal requirements. Ensuring claims due diligence is documented and kept up to date on a regular basis.  
·  Prepare contract negotiations, regular contract reviews and renewals resp. termination, assist in contract negotiations from a Claims perspective and ensure both Allianz’ and regulatory requirements are adequately reflected. 
·  Assist with the coordination of the audit process, review and document audit results and support Business Owner in following up on those. Assist with the preparation of regular Risk Assessments.  
·  Support business Owner during transition of terminated relationships. 
·  Establish and maintain good rapport with other stakeholders, especially the Claims Business Owner, Underwriting and Outsourcing.  

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

·  First experience in insurance  
·   Knowledge of insurance principles and practices. 
·  Familiarity with delegated authorities and claims handling procedures. 
·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
·  Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 
·  Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 
·  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
