Description of the job

A vacancy for a System Architecture & IV&V (m/f) has arisen within Airbus DS Electronics and Border Security in Friedrichshafen. The successful applicant will join “TDEES64 - Airborne & Spaceborne Ground Surveillance Radar”.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Inputs: Standard Architecture Framework, System Requirements, Catalogue of Test Facilities, Specifications of Interfacing Systems
·  Outputs: System Architecture, Project Test Strategy and Test Plans, Technical Inputs to Partner / Subcontractors Specifications
·  Mission: Preparation of system/sub-system/functional chain (an element of a marketed solution) architecture, integration, verification and validation, incl. specifications for assembly & equipment
·  Planning and organization of integration, verification and validation
·  Provide architecture and specifications of a system/sub- system/functional chain (an element of a marketed solution)
·  Prepare test campaign sequencing, test procedures & facilities
·  Define test equipment and tooling requirements and ensure their timely availability
·  Perform and/or monitor tests and perform real-time analysis of test results
·  Release test analysis & correlation reports after test completion
·  Responsible for Radar Electronics at the highest level of Spy Satellites Systems

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Electronics or similar
·  Experience in implementing and testing of analogue circuits up to microwave range is essential (X, KU-BAND)
·  Knowledge of IT-Tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·  English negotiation level and fluent German is required
