Description of the job

A vacancy for a Supportability Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join "TASSE3 - Supp. Engineering Trsp./Miss. GE"

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Development of logistically relevant design requirements and their integration into the documentation of design requirements.
·  Allocation of logistically relevant design requirements within the product/system structure.
·  Contribution to the availability concept and related analyses, tests and demo plans.
·  Conduct RAMT analyses, tests and demos to identify and predict future behavior, skills and characteristics in the relevant areas.
·  Influencing the design based on the results of RAMT analyses, tests and demos.
·  Analysis of maintenance requirements and evaluation of logistics resources.
·  Determination of the product/system importance and preparation of FMECA reports.
·  Determination of life cycle costs and provision of cost-of-ownership data.
·  Close communication with other disciplines in the development process.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Completed studies (engineering / aerospace technology / electrical engineering) or comparable training
·  Relevant experience in development or comparable position
·  Analytical skills
·  Fluent in German and English
·  Experience in the aerospace/defense industry is an advantage
