Description of the job
A position as Specialist for Data Fusion techniques, Visualization (m/f) is open in Toulouse within the Flight & Space Physics area.
We are looking for an engineer able to drive and define digitalization and data fusion activities within the area of flight physics and especially in the aerodynamic wind tunnel testing area.
Data fusion is a key enabler for trades, fast analysis of experimental results in combination with Computational Fluid Dynamics and Computational Structure Mechanics, for automation and as feeder for the introduction of Digital Design, Manufacturing and Services.
The job requires specific knowledge of the experimental means, data processing, numerical methods, model based system engineering techniques (MBSE) and programming/use of artificial intelligence is required to come up with tangible solutions.

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
¤ Development of methodologies and tools to combine numerical and experimental data from wind tunnel to flight testing
¤ Application of data mining to gain new knowledge out of existing data.
¤ Implementation of modern IT based analysis methods.
¤ Derive profitable applications of data sciences in the business of aerodynamic development.
Frequent travels within Europe to be planned.

YOUR BOARDING PASS:
You have an engineering Degree in Information Technology or Computer Scientist (or equivalent)
¤ You have a programming experience.
¤ Experience in the fields data analysis, data science, data fusion, visualization, post processing, parametric modelling, and regression.
¤ Experience in model based system engineering MBSE and modern design of experiments (MDOE)
¤ Knowledge of aerodynamics, aerodynamic testing and data acquisition would be helpful.
¤ Ability to gather complex technical projects in a short time and to work in a transnational teams with various stakeholders
¤ Excellent communication and project management skills
