Description of the job

A vacancy for a Software Engineer Mission Data Validation (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “EW GSS Solutions”.

Desired profile

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Re-hosting and adaptation of the original aircraft software versions
• Integration of the "re-hosted" software in MaTE (Eurofighter modelling and test environment)
• Development and adaptation of LRI simulations
• Support in design and development of the overall system
• Support of the project manager in the preparation of new offers
• Collaboration with customers, in the team and in other areas of aircraft development

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
• Degree in computer science or engineering with a focus on software development or a comparable qualification
• Very good programming skills in Ada
• Good knowledge of Eurofighter avionics is required
• Practical experience in the area of simulations and modelling
• Practical experience with re-hosting of embedded software
• Experience with MaTE desirable
• Strong team player, independent working method and high quality awareness
• Very good knowledge of English
