Description of the job

A vacancy for a Planner Customer Needs (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join “TASMT-TL2 - EF Material Planning & Inventory”.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main task is the analysis, forecasting and planning of the military customer's repair and spare parts requirements, taking into account operating parameters, technical modifications and special projects.

This includes the definition, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the analysis and planning process taking into account the available data and systems.

As a result, we expect the continuous provision/evaluation of optimization and procurement proposals taking into account the relevant requirements and procurement parameters with the aim of optimizing the military customer's spare parts supply.

Specifically, the activity consists primarily in the monitoring and analysis of the inventory of replacement parts and the range of the inventory of consumable parts. Problems as well as the effects of future developments of the weapon system and the maintenance concept on the spare parts stock have to be pointed out at an early stage.

Required skills

·  Completed studies (Industrial Engineering and Management) or comparable education
·  Experience in Eurofighter maintenance
·  Experience in material requirements forecasting, planning and scheduling
·  Experience in analysis of in-service data
·  Knowledge of SAP; (SASPF desirable)
·  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (incl MS Access)
·  Fluent in German and English
