Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters in Donauwoerth is looking for a NC-Programmer (m/f) within the area “Industry / Industrial Site Donauworth / Plant Mechanical & Electrical Components / Production Services / NC & Tool Management” for the department “EDDMTN1 - NC-Support”.

Tasks & accountabilities

In this position, your main task will be the supply of machining areas with the NC programmes.

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Determining the optimal machining strategy
·  Defining tools to be used
·  Defining the set-up situation or participating in the design of manufacturing means
·  Creating the NC programme in the CAM system CATIA V5
·  Simulating the machining process in VERICUT
·  Providing test support of components up to quality inspections
·  Coordinating and providing technical guidance to external programming service providers
·  Preparing process improvements/programming standards

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

·  Completed technical training and additional qualifications as a Technician/Master Technician in Mechanical Engineering or further technical studies or similar
·  Experience in NC processing
·  Sound knowledge of production processes
·  Excellent knowledge of CAM CATIA V5
·  Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
·  Good teamwork skills, innovative and customer-oriented way of working
·  Independent and organised working methods
·  Reliability
·  Problem-solving attitude
·  Fluency in German and an advanced level of English
