A vacancy for a A400M MTSF Model Developer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space until the end of 2019 in Ulm, after 2019 in Manching. The successful applicant will join "Military Mission Tests Facility".

Military Mission Tests Facility currently operates the A400M Military Test and Support Facility (MTSF) until end of 2019 in Ulm, after 2019 in Manching, for the integration and testing activities of the aircraft systems.
"Military Mission Management System (M-MMS) and the Defensive Aids Subsystem (DASS). For the development and timely provision of real-time models and evaluation tools according to customer requirements. To reinforce the SW development team, we are looking for a model developer.

The location of the contract is Manching with a secondment to Ulm until the end of 2019.

The main tasks are:

·  Design and specification of software models according to Airbus Procedure AP2633.
·  Development and testing of software models on a real-time test system.
·  Planning and execution of model approvals.
·  Design and development of evaluation tools using suitable development environments (e.g. Eclipse) or script languages (e.g. Python).
·  Capture and edit problem reports against the software products in the tools used.
·  Import of the required ICDs(Albatros DB)/eICDs (MBID) into the real-time test system environment.
·  Configuration of the SW products in the corresponding tools.
·  Support users in using the responsible software products.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  University Degree in Engineering with focus on simulation/modelling or similar
·  Experience in the design, implementation and operation of test and inspection systems Simulation Software for Civil and Military Avionics and electronic warfare test systems.
·  Experience in the development of real-time software with the help of modern Software development methods using UML and UML tools (e.g. EA) under VxWorks with C/C++ and Python.
·  Experience in the use of real-time test and analysis systems, in particular TechSAT ADS-2 and tools from AIM.
·  Experience in dealing with modern engineering tools for the requirement engineering (especially DOORS) and configuration management (SAP PLM, PVCS).

Attainments

·  The Airbus ABD processes, especially with the Model Development Standard AP2633.
·  Common interface standards such as Ethernet, VCOM, MilBus, AFDX, ARINC429.
·  Fluent in English and German
