Description of the job

Are you looking for an internship? Would you like to support the Marketing department or to support the bid management & sales department of the Security Solutions business area? Then apply now! We look forward to you joining us as an intern (m/f) (35 hours/week, flexi-time).

Location: Friedrichshafen
Start: April
Duration: 4-6 months

Besides all Marketing and Sales activities, the department is in charge of preparing and providing convincing and competitive proposals for all aspects of the Security Solutions business perimeter: border security, Perimeter & Port Security, Security of critical national infrastructure and related services & training activities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Depending on your experience, the internship will either focus on Marketing activities or on Sales and Bid Management activities.

In case of a specialization more into the Marketing area, your main tasks will include:

·  Marketing support for specific business opportunities and sales campaigns
·  Support in the setting up of the Intranet pages for the business area
·  Support in the planning and preparation of trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and customer events (both internal and external)
·  Support in the compilation of presentation material, brochures, flyers, white papers and other marketing documentation

In case of a specialization more into Sales & Bid Management, your main tasks will include:

·  Support of the Sales Team in early campaign phase, e.g. support of the preparation of internal review meeting, support in the preparation of customer meetings & exhibitions
·  conducting market and competitor researches and analyses
·  Support in the preparation of qualification materials
·  Support of the Bid Team in Bid Management activities:
·  Support in the overall bid planning
·  Support in review preparation
·  Taking over of dedicated roles in the bid team, e.g. as book captain.
·  General assistance to the Head of Bid Management
·  Support in the preparation of standardized proposals

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Economics, Business Adminstration, Industrial Engineering, Sales, Procurement, Marketing or similar field of study
·  English: fluent
·  German: fluent

You should be self-motivated, structured and enjoy working with colleagues from other departments in a team atmosphere.
