Over the last years a microsatellite platform has been developed from the University of Stuttgart and Airbus DS Friedrichshafen. This platform is called the Future Low-cost Platform (FLP) and it is targeted for the 50-150kg class of small satellites. The FLP is suited for a variety of mission scenarios.
Airbus has industrialized, functionally enhanced and further modularized this platform which is now called the “Flexible LEO Platform” (FLP2).

Tasks & accountabilities

·  Analysis of data and electrical interfaces and compatibility for new payload and platform equipment of the FLP2 SmallSat platform
·  Engineering analysis, interface diagram design and documentation, data interface compatibility documentation

Required skills

You offer:

·  Enrolled student within Aerospace Engineering or similar field of study
·  Sound knowledge in C++
·  English: fluent (spoken and written)

You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
