Tasks & accountabilities

As part of the new helicopter programs, ETCC is the industrial architect responsible for the development, implementation and industrialization of the future production lines for Major Component Assembly MCA Centre Fuse (fully pre-equipped and tested middle section) according to the global industrial model. The assemblies are then delivered directly to the final assembly line.

Your exciting tasks:

·  Technical product and process definition

o Definition of new production concepts
o Lean management, analysis and optimization of existing processes including logistical flows
o Definition of production and control/test equipment and maintenance plans
o Benchmark with other programs / products

·  project

o Support of innovation projects as well as planning of the hall layout and workplace design
o Cost accounting for profitability analysis of investments
o Creation of decision templates and implementation of projects.

o Active participation in MCA interface definitions, architectures and bills of materials
o Technical consulting of the design departments with regard to industrial concerns when defining new configurations
o Analysis of helicopter architecture to improve system mountability
o Creation of a catalogue with an overview of the industrial and technical specifications of the production in Donauwoerth.

The trainee (m/f) will gain an insight into the various fields of activity of the department and act supportively.

Required skills

You offer:

·  Registered student (m/f) during the time of the internship
·  Possible courses of study: mechanical engineering, production engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or similar
·  Business fluent in English and German, knowledge of French is an advantage
