Relocation:

Purpose: This role is responsible for executing and implementing key merchandising principles as defined by the organisation. The aim is to maximize profitability of the adidas Group by executing the merchandising tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

· Work with Merchandising Director/Sr. Merchandising Manager in executing the global merchandising goals and ensure implementation by working with the BU's and markets
· Develop and fulfil the range/assortment plan, ensuring brand strategies are executed so supporting commercial success
· Work on range and (if applicable) assortment planning for, channel/customer segmentation, store tiering and Brand Collection
· Support end to end range planning process
· Contribute to projects that require horizontal view
· Contribute to the enhancement of all merchandising systems and tools, working with the Business Solution Team, Global IT and analytics team to meet world class merchandising best practice
· Support regular analysis of competitor activity in the market
· Work with the markets to analyse trends
· Deliver hindsight analysis and market seasonal input to make adjustments accordingly to future season’s range planning.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of a merchandising training program
· Market visits as needed and advised by the business (expected ratio office/travel is 90%/10%)

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience:

· Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
· Fluent in English
· Additional language is an advantage
· Good understanding of Merchandising Concepts
· Strong analytical skills
· Structured, organised and process orientated
· Attention to detail as error in analysis will have crucial impact to business
· Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Qualifications:

· University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience
· 4-5 years adequate work experience, including 1-2 years merchandising experience.
