Purpose

Acting in a key relationship management capacity to provide a conduit between adidas Group IT teams and key business stakeholders in your functional area (European level) to ensure adidas Group consumer direct (CD) information technology needs are managed consistently within the boundaries of time, cost and quality while focusing and managing expectations and requirements of the stakeholders. Implementing the Global IT strategy and Ideal Market Concept across, the country clusters and driving standardisation, automation and consolidation.

Key Accountabilities

· Capture, prioritize and structure EU adidas Consumer Direct (Retail, Franchise, e-commerce) demands and requirements in a timely and comprehensive manner.
· In order to create the roadmap, lead and facilitate workshops in strategically important areas with both business and IT. Understand and manage demand dependencies within the business community and across GIT to maximize added value and continuous business process improvement.
· Support the agreed application/technology projects within the boundaries of time, cost and quality and managing the customers’ expectations and requirements.
· Lead related Direct to Consumer projects (Back office and Store related projects cross Channels – Retail, Franchise, eCOM) with various teams and ensure the rollouts within Western Europe Markets (South, North, Iberia, France, Central)
· Drive and host the Western Europe role to our Global Business and IT partners to enable new digital assets to our channels (Retail Stores, Franchise and eCOM) e.g. new Consumer facing APP’s in our stores
· Collaborate with the Western Europe BIZ Store Operation team to ensure great sales turnover
· Identify and implement improvements and innovations related to the existing DTC application landscape

Functional and Technical Expertise

· Full end-to-end understanding of respective business processes and best practices in order to translate internal and external trends into deliverables for the business. Drive these initiatives by securing resources and budget to realize added value and contribution to innovation within business and GIT.
· Continuously enhance the current system landscape towards customer satisfaction by performing projects or change requests through the IT process life-cycle (Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing, Go-Live and Support)

Stakeholder Management

· Develop a healthy and productive relationship with key customers/business and senior management stakeholders. Manage these relationships to meet their business needs and align expectations. Always strive to improve business partner satisfaction.
· As conflicts and escalations arise, ensure transparency and clarity to key stakeholders, and resolve these in a timely and appropriate manner.
· Represent your respective function at internal or external events when applicable.

Financials and Controlling

· Support that all financial and controlling commitments and targets are fully achieved through compliance with adidas Group standards. Raise any issues or concerns to your superior.
· If required, manage respective budget through tracking and reporting the monthly budget accruals and variances and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience

· Ability to provide a clear framework for performance to direct reports/project team
· Project management knowledge and experience
· Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects in parallel with different teams
· Pro-active (engaging and impact-oriented) mind-set, ability to think end-to-end with a global mind-set
· Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
· Ability to cope with change, make decisions and act comfortably with risk and uncertainty
· Expert knowledge of respective business processes and IT systems
· Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
· Strong commercial awareness with the consumer goods industry
· Ability to travelas required
· Fluent English (verbal and written)
· Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

· Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Minimum of 5+ years of progressive work experience in IT operations, project management or related field
· Ideally experience in a market environment in a management/leadership position
· 3-5 years of experience managing a team
