Hardware Architect System Cabinets (Ref.Nr. 1706281)

in the Transportation System division at our headquarters in Ditzingen near Stuttgart

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

In this role you are responsible for all System Cabinets used in Ground Transportation Systems (GTS) product portfolio.

It also involves the following tasks:

· Responsible in Ground Transportation Systems as Design Authority Product Line System Cabinets
· Maintain a roadmap for generic cabinets that continuously improves serviceability and maintainability while keeping the number of variants as low as possible
· Manage and align roadmap with stakeholders
· Work with the Hardware Architects in development of fit for the future and innovative generic hardware concepts for transportation systems
· Closed collaboration with Customer Application Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Line Managers, DAPLs and PDAs in GTS Units
· Support of the development estimations process

You have:

· Master/Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science
· Experience in safety critical transportation environment preferred
· Knowledge of corresponding Standards (AREMA, CENELEC)
· Project Management skills
· Excellent communicator and negotiator
· Experience with intercultural teams
· Highly flexible team player, organized, motivated
· Very good English skills
