Talent Programs Manager

Job Purpose:

Our Global Supply Chain (GSC) brings together our global manufacturing sites and supply chains, now covering approximately one third of GSK’s global workforce.

As the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Talent Programs Manager you will use your expertise in talent, recruitment, and HR Generalist experience to shape and deliver the early and emerging talent agenda within the Global Supply Chain organization.

Working as part of the GSC Talent, DEI and Learning & Development centre of excellence (PoE), you will partner with functional HRBLs and the business to design, streamline and deliver programs that deliver a high quality, diverse early / emerging talent pipeline, focused on critical and future capabilities in the business, within the broader GSK talent strategy and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Work with the GSC Learning and People, Data and Analytics teams, business leaders and HRBLs to identify key strategic capabilities and align talent programs to meet future workforce needs.
·  Manage the GSCs talent programmes (interns, graduate, apprentices, emerging talent programmes etc.), identifying and implementing the appropriate elements to ensure the key experiences building the required skills during the program, and towards the target offboarding roles.   
·  Partner with the GSC PoE Learning team to design the business specific elements of the learning curriculum and identifying effective and engaging delivery mechanisms.
·  Identify and implement business specific elements of the onboarding plan including elements of pre-day 1 engagement, within programme networking.
·  Collaborate with global recruitment early talent team, HR Country Heads / HR Business Leads and the business to align on demand planning.
·  Bring the outside in, leveraging external best practice alongside GSK global talent practices to identify talent opportunities across the Global Supply Chain organisation.
·  Define and monitor the delivery of the early talent programs KPIs, ensuring that business leaders demonstrate accountability for development and delivery of key plans in their areas.

Basic Qualifications:

·  Experienced HR professional who has developed a strategic and solid understanding of the challenges that a business may face in recruiting, developing, and retaining talent.
·  Strong organisational skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity in a fast-paced working environment.
·  Self-starter with a natural drive to implement and follow through on commitments.
·  Ability to use data to inform decisions and solve problems.
·  Strong relationship building and communication skills, to work and influence across different cultures with the ability to adjust to different approaches.

Preferred Experience / qualifications and skills:

·  Be experienced working with a matrix team based in diverse locations and delivering through external partners as required.
·  Experience in developing, implementing and delivery of talent programs and interventions aimed at building specific talent pools and critical skills in the organisation.
·  Experience working in a shared services HR model to deliver effectively. 
·  Have a degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources and/or Business/Management
·  Developing people and building a talent pipeline
·  Strategic workforce planning
