Your contribution to something big

Highly/fully automated driving has the potential to revolutionize our current transportation system. As part of an international team, you will contribute ideas as well as implement specific functionalities in the domain of multi-sensor localization for automated driving within pilot as well as series projects. You tasks will include:

·  Development of multi-sensor (Cameras, Lidar, Radar etc.) localization techniques
·  Extensive evaluation of the developed localization techniques in simulation as well as real world scenarios
·  Participate in the development of different functionalities within series and pilot projects based on customer requirements
·  Coordination and execution of tasks in collaboration with teams from different departments in an international environment

What distinguishes you

·  You have a B.Sc/M.Sc or PhD in the domain of Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics or a related field
·  Proven experience in the domain of multi-camera or multi-sensor localization techniques
·  You have prior experience in the domain of robotics, computer vision with different sensors (Lidar, Radar, Kinect, Sonars) as well as hands on development in field of SLAM, point cloud processing, sensor modeling and object tracking will be beneficial
·  You have experience in C/C++ (necessary), ROS (highly recommended), OpenCv (optional), Point cloud library (optional), Python (recommended) and development on Linux systems (preferred)
·  Experience with modern software frameworks as well as version control tools will be beneficial
·  Ability to work on challenging problems as well as implement efficient algorithms to address those problems
·  Excellent communication skills along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a big team in an effective manner
·  Proficiency in English language, German language knowledge is a plus
·  A valid driving license valid for Germany will be beneficial
