Internship (m/f) in Market Delivery at Global Automotive

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

Within Allianz Global Automotive our department "Specialty Lines" with its highly skilled expert team is responsible to assess and enable “go to market strategies” by finding the optimum solutions for promising markets around the globe, and along the entire value chain of Global Automotive products. We drive strategic initiatives, assess, understand, conceptualize and define new business models, setups and manage new product entries.

In your role as an intern you will be part of that team where you will have the chance not just to drive your own project and work on a variety of ad-hoc tasks, but take proactive part in some of our strategic projects.
The position offers an excellent platform to get broad exposure in project management and international communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market and automotive research and analysis

Support the evaluation of business requirements along the entire value chain

Participation in materialization of business opportunities for new & existing markets with stakeholders across the globe

Organization and coordination of day-to-day meetings, provision of relevant guiding documents and follow-ups

Support underwriting functionalities

Support in the evaluation of warranty and insurance requests & processes from international markets

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

Advanced studies preferably in Business Administration, Economics or similar field of studies

Enrolled as a student for the entire duration of employment or gap year

Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)

Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Working experience within the Automotive sector / Product development / Operations & IT / Project management is desirable

Experience and Skills

Strong result orientation and self-motivation

Comfortable in a fast-paced changing environment where strong responsiveness is expected

Conceptual capabilities and project management skills

Creative, pragmatic and uses self-initiative

Strong communication skills (written and spoken) in an international environment

Team player, craving for knowledge

Ability to deal with strategic and operational topics

Interest in automotive sector and basic knowledge of car brands and engine functionalities is desirable
