The Infrastructure Debt team is looking for an analyst intern to join the team based in Paris for 6 months. The primary responsibility of this role will be to help the team in Paris, composed of a senior Director, a VP, and an Assistant VP to originate and execute Infrastructure Debt investments in Europe. The intern will also work with the teams abroad in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Also, this role may also include origination and other marketing and borrower-facing activities.

What you will do

 

·  Participate in the origination, structuring and execution of new transactions
·  Undertake detailed financial analysis of new transaction opportunities
·  Assisting in the delivery of main elements of due diligence, including interfacing with technical and legal advisors
·  Analyse and navigate through complex project finance models
·  Perform internal rating analysis
·  Preparing credit memoranda and supporting Q&A during the Investment Committee process
·  Assist in the closing processes
·  Assist in the preparation of internal and external marketing materials

 

What you bring

 

·  Final year of university or business or engineering school
·  First experience in Project Finance / DCM / Investment Banking / Infrastructure Finance sector would be advantageous
·  Corporate finance fundamentals (including cash-flow analysis)
·  Experience in financial modelling is an advantage
·  Fluency in English and in French
·  Attention to detail and excellent analytical, quantitative, and writing skills
·  Works well in a small team environment, a self-starter who works independently and as a team player
·  Intellectual curiosity and commitment to learning
