There's no stopping us growing and we are looking for you to join our team starting July/August (maternity cover, for at least 15 months), as a Product Developer/ Garment Technician for Flat Knits & Circular Knits with a focus on dresses, shirts and bottom parts at our beautiful Berlin Friedrichshain location.

Your challenge

·  You will work in our product development department during the introductory phase and familiarize yourself with our collections
·  You will work closely with our Designers and Product Managers to develop the collection planning for the season
·  You will lead fittings and prepare tech packs with all relevant technical information
·  You will develop fittings and shapes and at last one comment based on your work sheets and approve prototypes and samples
·  You will communicate to suppliers and travel to Far-East and Europe to inspect that all technical standards are fulfilled
·  You will approve bulk production
·  You will be a troubleshooter in case of any problems
·  You’ll also take part in project management

What you’ve got

·  You have at least three years of relevant experience in garment technology and product development
·  A graduate with a fashion or textile related degree and knowledge of Flat and Circular Knit
·  Able to work in a fast paced environment and able to cope with multiple tasks, maintaining high level of accuracy at all times
·  Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a ‘can-do’ attitude
·  IT literate, with good experience using Microsoft office, as well as Adobe Illustrator/ Indesign
·  An excellent communicator and always willing to help others in your team
·  Good sewing or knitting skills are not necessary, but could be an advantage
·  Working closely with the other departments that make up the team, such as buying, design, and quality control/assurance
