BlaBlaCar is reinventing its tech stack, moving from a monolith architecture to a SOA. Belonging our Tech team, you will be working with a talented crew of Engineers in various agile teams spread across the organization, with whom you will share your vision, manage projects and help the team to grow through process and recruitment.

Within the team, you will have autonomy and ownership to reach its goals. Our tech stack includes Java, React, Android, Swift, Go, Python, PHP/Symfony2, KafKa, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Redis and much more !

What you will directly contribute to:

People: Ensure that the team has all it needs to function:
Managing engineers;
Recruiting engineers to complete the team;
Helping engineers to grow in every way;
Ensuring you will have the right team to reach objectives;
Ensuring a good mindset and keep a good culture in your team;

Roadmap manager:
Following your projects and working hand in hand with all the team to ensure speedy delivery;
Defining the roadmap with Leads and Engineers, and communicate about the goals status regularly;
Designing plans and then pushing them to completion;
Building and maintaining relationships with our partners;
Continuously removing obstacles and anticipating blockers to make our developers' lives easier, ensuring that our iterative development cycles run smoothly.

Profil recherché

What you will need to be successful:
A strong ability to manage developers;
A natural passion for managing web projects;
Strong track record of delivering and running tech stacks;
Demonstrate a solid knowledge of building rock-solid applications and tools;
Several years working with agile methods;
Be high-energy, humble, structured, organized, motivated by innovation and a relentless doer and leader;
Enjoy working as a team-player, quickly adapting to a fast-paced work environment and learning from others while being fun&serious;
Excellent proficiency in French and in English.
