JOB DESCRIPTION

Placement Specialists serve as an integral interface between Willis Towers Watson clients and prospects and various insurance carriers in the marketplace. They advise Producers and other colleagues on the design of complex risk management programs for clients; present hard-to-place submissions to carriers, negotiate to secure coverage that meets client needs, oversee preparation of client proposals and maintain strong relationships with key carriers. The Placement Specialist is the person recognized by the client, client advocate team and the insurance marketplace as the day-to-day broker, negotiating terms and conditions of various FINEX coverages on behalf of clients.

Responsibilities

·  Target book of Revenue: $750,000 to $1,000,000
·  Client count: Approx 30 clients
·  Broker terms and conditions for FINEX coverages for existing and new clients with a focus on the adequacy of coverage and competitive premiums
·  Utilize pre-established panels of carriers that have pre-agreed to broad terms and conditions and to service standards that are beneficial to clients
·  Provide day-to-day service to assigned clients, including the coordination of acquiring quotes, comparing terms and conditions, and binding coverage
·  Act as an available resource for clients and producers/client advocates in the specialized areas, including making recommendations 
·  Participate in the efforts to grow by via new and expanded business/placements, including the cross-sell of FINEX products 
·  Coordinate with local offices to ensure alignment between broking and production strategies

The Requirements 

·  Technical knowledge of FINEX (management and professional liability, cyber and fidelity insurance contracts/structures) 
·  Knowledge and understanding of current marketplace/ carriers
·  Transactional oriented; Ability to work on multiple placements at once
·  Enhanced client service skills; skilled at interfacing with customers
·  Working knowledge of financial statements, financial analysis, cyber-related risks and fidelity risks
·  Strong communication skills – written and oral
·  Enhanced client service skills; skilled at interfacing with customers – internal and external
·  Strong presentation skills
·  Ability to provide expert, in depth advice to client resulting in overall client satisfaction
·  Commitment to maintaining clear and accurate files
·  Insurance broker’s license required
