WABCO offers a challenging opportunity as Buyer in the team of Advanced Purchasing based in Brussels.

We are looking for open minded and passionate talents willing to start their purchasing career in innovation by developing partnerships with start-ups and technology leaders from around the globe.

Key Accountabilities

Focus on innovations for Digitization, Electrification and Autonomous Driving Domains
Keep technology watch by participating to fairs and continuous research
Market research, partner and technology evaluation
Execute, evaluate and negotiate requests for quotation or information addressed to suppliers
Choose preferred development partners with the support of other functions
Create strategic partnerships with companies ranging from start-ups to major multinationals
Prepare Domain strategy together with Domain Leaders
Consolidate Engineering Services needs for innovation and lead a global sourcing strategy for the segment

Profil:

Skills & Experience

Degree in Engineering preferably in Software and/or Electrical field
Minimum experience 1 year
Technological curiosity
Good negotiation skills and interest to develop commercial skills
Fluent in English
Analytical thinking and result orientation
Good communication skills and assertiveness
Willingness to travel
