MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

The Workday Analyst is a key individual in the global HR Systems Support Team who is responsible for the implementation of changes with to HCM, security, compensation, absence, benefits, payroll, time & attendance, and performance & talent in Workday system. This person serves as the specialist for these areas of the processes and will provide ongoing solutions to meet our current and future needs. This role will be a critical resources Workday Annual Compensation Review, Benefit Elections, and Performance & Talent process. This role will also elevate the user experience of HR Business Partners, People Experience Leads, Data Specialists and employees in using Workday

The global HR System Support team was established in 2015 as a new team to support the new global HR system, Workday. This role is part of that organisation working seamlessly with our colleagues in IT Services and Information & Analytics, plus the existing HR Service lines and operations, to ensure the Workday service at Unilever continues to improve.

JOB SUMMARY (Responsibilities)

• Process local change request & optimizations for Unilever's stakeholders, Develop, test& deploy required configuration to meet business need, & document all changes implemented

• Act as product specialist harmonizing the regional variances, interpret new requirements and share appropriate solutions with Stakeholders partnering with the Regional Partners and Regional Support team for a more scalable solution and respond to suggestions related to for improvements

• Identifies and recommends processes areas that could be simplified, improved or changed; to enhance user experience and drive simplification

• Elevates the experience and engagement in Workday through User Experience Lab and business partnering with HR Business Partners, People Experience Leads, Data Specialists& employees

• Recognize a potential live service issue when the same issue comes in, investigate to find out if there is an underline issue causing them and activate the incident communication process

• Undertakes upload of mass data using EIB interface e.g. bulk pay increases, bulk data change, acquisitions, disposals

• Manages the Workday Inbox (Unassigned Tasks, Security Approval, Business Process Definition Error)

• Liaises with the Integration, Reporting, Master Data Management, Global Payroll, Global Rewards, Global Mobility, and Global Core HR and other Expertise Teams on change impact.

• Create simple to understand position papers outlining options and recommendations based on solutions you and your team have identified

• Create and deliver high level stakeholder updates from detailed functional/technical material that you have prepared

• Be an active member of the Workday Community website to ask questions and provide answers to Workday and fellow customers, as well as to keep up to date on the latest Workday product developments and events

• Support in maintaining training activities and materials, including user guides, FAQ, recorded demos, portal content, etc

KEY REQUIREMENTS

2 years Workday implementation/administration/support experience required

·
Background with Workday HCM Core, Security, Reporting

·
Strong functional HR knowledge base – compensation, benefits, absence and payroll - with firm understanding of HR processes and data, especially as related to HR systems.

·
Experience of other Human Resources Management Systems, preferably Cloud-based

·
Knowledge of HCM design, structure, functions and processes

·
Ability to fully comprehend holistic view of global systems structure and HR processes in order to make solid, independent decisions with confidence

·
Experience in collaborating with team members in other countries to understand and develop technology solutions for business needs

·
Bring functional and technical knowledge to proactively troubleshoot issues, and conduct knowledge transfer with end users

·
Passion for delivering service excellence; and developing a culture of “easy to do business with”, where customer's needs are anticipated

Highly analytical mindset with strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, problem solve and resolve system issues. Passion for simplification and continuous improvement
