WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE?

The Project Management Officer (PMO) and Governance Assistant Manager role will play a key part of governing the global projects at the heart of the transformation. This will include ensuring there is a roadmap of activity across the portfolio of projects which is communicated across the regional teams through a project management office, enabling excellent delivery on the ground. In addition, this role will support the global delivery teams through project governance, ensuring regular status reporting and risk and issues tracking, to provide relevant reporting and escalation to the leadership team.

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?

This role requires a well organised individual who can support and drive a governance model that will ensure delivery of all employee experience projects.

Specific tasks will include:

· Maintain excellent knowledge of all projects in the jobs to be done (JTBD) portfolio to act a link-pin in overall delivery knowledge and ensure the correct escalations
· Ensure timely and relevant governance around status, delivery roadmap and risk and issue reporting / escalation
· Develop and maintain PowerBI project reporting process and tool
· Ensure visibility of global projects (JTBD) for regional teams and leadership team
· Enables the sharing of best practice by supporting the co-ordination of the agenda of project management office (weekly PMO meetings), ensuring engagement between local and global teams.
· Support the tracking of the business as usual (BAU) activities across the clusters in regard to key initiatives such as sustainability, safety & security and LEAN activities, using the BAU tracker
· Champion the use across the team of key collaboration tools such as Yammer. Ensuring appropriate use to share knowledge and experience, great delivery and good news stories.
· Encourage a learning culture across the team. Lead by example in the use of learning tool (Degreed), ensure familiarity across the team of the Learning tool
· Take responsibility for purchase order entry and goods receipt for Workplace related projects including:
· Manage the processes to support our controls around purchase to pay
· Support the Workplace team with the raising of all PO's, tracking commitments with suppliers against broader project funding and managing effective GR'ing of invoices
· To be a key point of contact for our suppliers when issues arise that require further escalation in the standard finance accounts payable processes
· Proactively review invoices and payments, react quickly and find resolution to any PO, invoice or payment related issues

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

· A candidate who has a minimum 5 years of experience in PMO, governance and multiple projects.
· Someone who has excellent communication and skills in managing high level stakeholders (both local and global stakeholders)
· Some with real accountability - taking responsibility for doing what you say
· An individual who has an ability to develop new approaches to meet changing needs and to work in a fast-changing, quick-paced work environment and prioritize and plan to meet timelines
· A Proactive individual and flexible in style and approach
· Someone who can relate to and influence a wide range of personalities, levels of seniority and working styles
