About the opportunity

We have a 12-month contract position available for a Planning and Logistics Co-ordinator available at our North Rocks site.

This role will ensure the smooth rollout of key supply chain initiatives for the Home, Beauty and Personal Care category in ANZ. The role will support the delivery of the strategic program at the North Rocks manufacturing site as it evolves to provide flexible and cost-effective operations. This will include the provision of planning and logistics coordination for outsourcing of production to local and overseas manufacturers, line upgrades/consolidation and new investment on new pack formats.

Key accountabilities

Ensure logistics and planning support for all allocated project workstreams (Powders, Liquids, Aero)

· Engage with broad business groups to align on project objectives
· Support& manage project network timelines, identify risks in service levels, support cost calculations for transition of products
· Manage internal stakeholders on completion of tasks
· Communicate effectively within project team and to other key stakeholders Effectively manage Project processes through:

· Managing broader business activities for timely task & project completion
· Identify and maximise the options to influence the project teams towards best Commercial outcome
· Be able to look to horizon and anticipate risks; be diligent and work with the project team to mitigate risks and deliver the project to agreed plan Ensure Learning's are captured & communicated through:

· Project management evaluation (lessons learned).
· Cross communication with other business units (HBPC and IC) project leaders/project managers.

Skills & experience

· 3+ years experience in a supply chain environment, ideally repetitive manufacturing based
· Experience operating within an FMCG environment
· Understanding of project management principles
· Proven experience of stakeholder communication/management
· Possesses strong commercial & operational acumen
· Possesses sound knowledge of manufacturing planning principles, logistics management
· Solid understanding of project management processes and tools.
· Strong stakeholder communication/management capability at all levels of business
· Strong motivational skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams
· Confident in holding others accountable and driving progress
· Ability to understand and take different approach for different situations
· Can do and problem-solving mindset.
