Associate Demand Planning Manager - Skin Care

Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Background & Purpose of the Job
This position is key to achieving Skin Care Category KPI's - customer service, Forecast Bias, working capital, business waste and overall cost - while supporting category growth. The Associate Manager will act as the business partner in processes that are executed in close cooperation with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Business Operation Manager. The responsibilities of this position are:

Demand Planning – responsible for the 12-month rolling volume forecast. Focuses on collaborative "bottom-up" planning with Customer Development, Brand, and Customer Supply Chain. The objective is to continuously improve forecast accuracy to deliver high customer service levels and simultaneously support the reduction of finished goods inventory. Lead implementation of any new SO&P tools/processes in association with Demand Planning Excellence. You will lead Monthly Demand reviews on a $700 Million business and have the visibility to drive true growth, efficiencies, and cash delivery for Unilever. This position is extremely visible to senior leadership.

· You love to win, and have fun doing it: You play a critical and extremely tangible role in delivering results. You will help with growing our leadership in the skin care category

What You'll Need To Succeed
· Bachelor Degree in in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Planning, Supply Chain or related fields
· A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
· Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft project.
· Operational Process Planning, and experience with SAP APO & ECC a plus.
· APICS a plus.
· Position requires good communication skills and team commitment
· Good quantification and analytical skills in a dynamic environment requiring the ability to be flexible and work in “gray” areas.
