Work Level: up to £29,425 depending on experience

Department: Hair GDC

Travel: minimal, 5%

MAIN JOB PURPOSE/INTRODUCTION:

The global aerosol styling team is looking for an exceptional technician to help deliver our innovative products that will delight the consumer. Our team has the advantage of being part of the new product delivery from the beginning to the end. Working across various brands such as Tresemme, V05, Dove and many more all over the world and a diverse product range: dry shampoo, hairsprays, mousse and other new product types the impact you will have is vast. This role will involve both formulation and packaging development to create the final product.

JOB SUMMARY

-Support the development of new aerosol testing capabilities, such as predictive corrosion techniques & further analysis techniques such as SEM to enable the business to launch high quality products much faster

-Strengthen current testing capabilities and generate data. Analyse data and present to the team with conclusions

-Support the development of next generation aerosols for both formulation and packaging as well as strengthening the current product range

-Support and explore new and current consumer benefits for hairspray, dry shampoo and new product developments

-Support the delivery of aerosol innovation projects to a high standard by generating and analysing data, reporting back to the team

-Perform experiments to support testing, enabling faster qualifications for the future and supporting our digital programme.

KEY REQUIREMENTS




-BSc/MSc in in a scientific discipline

-Good practical skills and ability to translate experimental insights into product opportunities

-K nowledge of digital methods (e.g. DoE, data analysis/manipulation, statistics) is desirable

-Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

-Excellent (written and verbal) communication skills

-Strong IT skills and a drive to keep abreast of the opportunities afforded by new digital tools

-Enthusiastic and Self-motivated with a drive to continuously develop and learn
