Job Description

·  Global EMEA Clients Coverage (i.e. oil and gas players, industrials, transportation, banks, funds, sovereign, etc.)  in collaboration with 2 other derivatives marketers, with leadership role for a specific area (TBD)
·  Focus is mainly on financial derivatives instruments indexed on oil liquids (i.e. crude oil, petroleum products,  LPG, Petchem, etc.), but also natural gas (incl. LNG markets), power and CO2 markets in cooperation with Total Gas & Power trading group
·  Main goal is to originate and execute together with the various physical trading and/or New Ventures teams within TOTSA,  “non-vanilla” Derivatives transactions: special situation hedge, oil and gas asset monetisation, prepaid swaps, prepayments of future production, physical embedded derivatives solutions, etc.
·  The originator will have to work, with both Credit and Legal teams, in order to deliver possible solutions to help mitigate risks under well-defined limits.
·  Other key function is to participate in the overall daily flow execution activities of the SES desk covering both internal counterparts (i.e. affiliates of Total SA) as well as externals.

Candidate profile

·  The person will be responsible for covering part of the EMEA portfolio of counterparts together with 2 senior originators, in order to source and execute financial oil and gas derivatives transactions. 
·  Master’s Degree in finance is essential (good understanding of financial derivatives instruments is required)
·  Strong knowledge of physical oil or gas markets
·  Excellent commercial skills to work with financial instruments and markets activities
·  Ability to structure innovative derivatives solutions to comply with strict Credit and Legal guidelines
·  Preparing and presenting well designed and convincing PowerPoint presentations to clients is a must
·  Team player spirit is essential in order to cooperate with all other teams within the company.
·  Native or bilingual English (written and oral). Another European language would be a plus.
·  A similar Experience within an oil and gas trading organisation or a financial institution is required
