The Role

Tesla Treasury is a Global team that manages all of Tesla's cash operations and banking relationships. The team is responsible for coordinating Tesla’s banking activity with a keen eye to optimizing liquidity, maintaining debt requirements, and managing expenses while maximizing interest on invested cash.

Tesla Treasury is looking for an intern to work part-time (approx. 15-20 hours per week) in the Fremont office on cash related projects. Looking for a go-getter who is conversant with Microsoft Excel and can independently manage workload, be extremely productive and proactive about making progress on projects.

The internship will be for a duration of 3+ months and will focus on two projects. The first project involves web submissions of documents and forms on a repetitive basis and following up on results and filings. The second project involves analysis of bank fees using Excel tools including Pivot tables and data analysis. If you are motivated, self-directed and can find ways to be productive and useful within a team, you will do well in this role. For exceptional candidates, there is a possibility to renew the internship beyond the 3-month horizon.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·  Currently working towards a BS, MS, or MBA in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related program.
·  Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel.
·  Professional and positive communication skills, both oral and written.
·  Ability to work 15-20 hours per week in Fremont, California
·  The most important skill for this role is to be a go-getter, someone who can work consistently fast, brainstorm quick solutions with minimal guidance and will go ahead and implement them.
