Planner

Aberdeen

We are looking for a Planner to assist with the provision of Planning and Project Control activities on UKBU Projects and Tenders. Also to ensure that the systems, processes and reporting requirements for both internal and external clients are in place and adhered to, in line with the UKBU Planning and Control Procedure.

Job Description

¡Adherence to the TechnipFMC UK Planning and Control procedure (and supporting processes)

¡Development of Budget / Tender / Project schedules

¡Development and production of Contract Control Schedules

¡Development and production of Project reporting packages for internal and external purposes

¡Development and production of ad-hoc schedules where required, whether for project or non-project purposes

¡Monitor and report progress on projects, identify trends / issues and provide corrective measures in an advisory capacity to the project manager

¡Interface with client planning personnel in all relevant matters with assistance from Senior peers (as required)

¡Interface with subcontractor personnel in all relevant matters with assistance from Senior peers (as required)

¡Interface with T-MOS through the UKBU Operations Planning engineer to highlight all changes to project schedule which may impact vessel utilisation or sequencing

¡Maintaining comprehensive records of all project planning related documentation, including as a minimum: Contract Control Schedules, Detailed Offshore schedules, As-Built schedules, As-Built analysis, Project Change registers, Peer reviews.

¡Inform the UKBU Operations Planner of all relevant project notification windows and milestones

·Effective management of own workload in line with known deadlines•

You are meant for this role if you have:

Must have:

¡  HNC (or above) in an Engineering / Science Based subject
¡  4 years (or more) planning relevant experience, preferable in the Oil and Gas industry
¡  Oracle Primavera P6 Certification and experience
¡  Microsoft Project experience
¡  Excellent Organisation skills

Nice to have:

¡  Planning / Project Control Qualification
¡  Subsea industry experience
¡  Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis Certification and experience
¡  Strong analytical skills
