RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collects, analyzes and forecasts for manufacturing cost information in order to provide operations and management with accurate reporting of financial data which complies with TechnipFMC policy. Performs a wide variety of cost accounting functions including weekly flash, cost of sales analysis, shipping/warehouse reviews, variance analysis (PPV, work order variance, scrap, freight), work order, production and period cost analysis, WIP reconciling and auditing, E&O reporting, standard hours analysis, and direct labor utilization analysis. Responsible for standard cost rollout including labor, freight and overheard rate definition, and creating, marking and releasing standard costs annually. Provide reporting and forecasting the impact of the annual cost roll to upper management and amortize standard cost reval. Provide periodic and ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed relative to all aspects of cost accounting and manufacturing operations.
MAIN TASKS:
• Assists in the development of financial plans, forecasts and budgets for the business.
• Performs a wide variety of cost accounting functions including weekly flash, cost of sales analysis, shipping/warehouse reviews, variance analysis (PPV, work order variance, scrap, freight), work order, production, and period cost analysis, WIP reconciling and auditing, E&O reporting, standard hours analysis, and direct labor utilization analysis.
• Performs complex, non-standard accounting, financial or cost analysis.
• Develops and maintains computer models, systems and data bases for new and existing accounting and financial applications.
• Identifies management information needs, presents findings and makes recommendations regarding appropriate actions to improve inventory or other control requirements
• Assists in the development, review and implementation of key processes, policies and procedures related to cost accounting.
• Proactively review established accounting practices and procedures. Recommend changes in and additions to such practices and procedures. Implement such changes where applicable and approved in order to enhance the department's efficiencies and effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred
• 2 – 3 years of Cost accounting experience is preferred.
• A very high level of analytical ability and abstract thinking skills are required due to the complexity of the analysis required to analyze data and provide recommendations to management for establishing and achieving profit objectives. Assesses alternatives and overall financial performance to suggest appropriate course of action.
• A high level of communication skills is required to interact with all levels of management.
• A substantial level of innovation is required to develop tools for increased awareness of manufacturing and cost related concerns and identify solutions to issues as they arise.
• Must be willing to travel up to 10% for training or other business needs as required.
• Must be safety minded individual who is able to consciously adhere to safety policies and procedures in the warehouse and office environments.
• Must be able to perform daily tasks and drive to achieve assigned goals/objectives with minimal direct supervision.
