Job Purpose:

¡  As part of the installation analysis team, perform installation analysis engineering related to flexible, umbilical and rigid pipe and subsea lifting of structures. Interfaces with project and lead engineers in projects and with other engineering disciplines to ensure optimised and safe installation methods.

Job Main Challenges:

¡  Improve installation operability ensuring safe and optimised methods.

Job Scope:

¡  Hydrodynamic calculations and modelling of subsea products and assets in Orcaflex. Performing static and dynamic analysis to verify systems constraints and operability.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Main accountabilities

¡  Data gathering and evaluation, design basis writing and follow-up
¡  Calculation of hydrodynamic and inertial properties of structures
¡  Use of marine operations software packages to model products, structures, vessels and other systems required to perform subsea operations such as pipe laying and lifting
¡  Verification of modelling and calculations towards relevant industry codes, standards, design guides, rules and regulations
¡  Provide support for the development of in-house tools to aid in analysis engineering tasks
¡  Preparation of study reports related to installation analysis
¡  Ensures that engineering documents meet the general quality requirements, codes, and standards
¡  Ensures that the discipline engineering deliverables are compliant with contract requirements (including budget), project QHSE plan and TechnipFMC and discipline engineering processes and standards

Additional accountabilities

¡  Ensure "lessons learned" with other Lead Engineers and project support functions

Profile requirements:

Main requirements

¡  Engineering Degree (M.Sc., B.Sc or equivalent)
¡  Minimum 2 years of experience in installation analysis
¡  Knowledge of Orcaflex
¡  Knowledge of Python or other dynamic programming language is an advantage
¡  Capable of team work, active participation and knowledge sharing, support colleagues

Additional requirements
¡  Programming skills, calculation of vessel RAOs or CFD are nice to have
¡  Being able to work in a multi-cultural and dynamic environment
¡  Flexibility to perform in long term large project as well as fast track tasks
