What will you do?
You will own the conception and development of interactive annotation tools with 3D
segmentation by using machine learning and/or statistical shape models on medical imaging.

During your internship, you will:
• Participate into a clinical immersion to understand the practical aspects of a radiologist daily job and his interrogation on the problem.
• Work with other data scientists and computer vision engineers of the team.
• Build segmentation tools by combining computer vision algorithms and deep learning models.
• Participate in the redaction of a scientific paper if your results can be published.
• Deliver features that can fit into Incepto machine learning platform and annotation viewer.

Ideally, a good candidate should be interested by both the clinical and data science aspects of the job.

What we are looking for

You are preparing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or any related fields.
You have or are ready to develop the following skills:
• Experience in computer vision and corresponding image processing methods
• Object-oriented programming: Python and/or C++
• Knowledge of foundation in mathematical theories underlying machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
• Team work
• Fluent in English
• Rigorous, curious and creative
• Willingness to learn
• Optionally: experience in one or several of the main artificial intelligence domains: neural networks, cloud-based architectures, AI frameworks, NLP, deep learning

Recruitment Process

We are looking for an intern from 3 to 6 months.
The job is located in the biggest start-up campus in the world in Paris, France.
The name of the place is “Station F” and it is in the south-east of the inner Paris.
