The Warehousing & LTL Buyer performs and supports assignments related to the strategic purchasing of warehousing and LTL services for Solvay in North America. This position is responsible for an annual spend of over ~ $20 million with approximately 30+ logistics suppliers. Major activities include supporting the sourcing, selection, negotiation, contracting and managing the portfolio of Solvay’s approved logistics suppliers under his/her scope. Works very closely with the businesses supply chains to help optimize their logistics and freight spend.
