Mechancial Testing technician

Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Mechanical Testing Technician in the Technical Service Department.
The TS Lab has a key role in delivering product test data for Aerospace customer qualifications, product re-sites, problem resolution and in support of product development activities.
This Mechanical Testing Technician role will primarily involve the mechanical testing of adhesive and composite materials using various industry or customer test standards. The role may also require secondary tasks of physical (non-analytical) testing, composite/adhesive panel fabrication and machining.
Training will be provided to a successful candidate who does not have specific mechanical testing experience. However preference will be shown to candidates who can demonstrate a proven background of operating mechanical test equipment.
