Societe Generale is one of the leading European banks. GEFA is the German entity of Societe Generale Equipment Finance. The VIE will work in GEFA's risk management department and support the team ALM Risk Management. The team consists of 3 persons, which are responsible market and liquidity risk monitoring, reporting and analysis GEFA internally, to Societe Generale Group as well as to local regulators.

The position opens an exceptional possibility for further career enhancement within Societe Generale Group.

Mission

Your role

Your main responsibilities will be:

·  Monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation of risks
·  Market and liquidity risk controlling
·  Risk banking management
·  Stress tests
·  Backtesting of models (e.g. VaR model)
·  Business analytics

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Wuppertal/Düsseldorf is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Graduate from Business School or University, you ideally have a mathematical background and a previous experiencein programming (SAS or SQL).
You speak English and French fluently. German is needful for the private life in Germany.

You have good command of MS Office.
