Your environment
Join for a VIE, Société Générale Group in Wuppertal/Düsseldorf, Germany.
You will integrate GEFA, the German entity of Societe Generale Equipment Finance. You will work in GEFA’s risk management department and support the team Corporate Risk Management. The team consists of 3 persons, which are responsible for PD and LGD models in connection with credit risk, also for PVBP und VAR methodology regarding ALM.

Your role
Your main responsibilities will consist in:
Day tasks and projects:
Support of model development,
Validation of risk models,
Support of model implementations,
Preparation and support of audit missions,
Preparation of ad-hoc analyses.
Monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation of risks:
Models & methods,
Validation of risk methods,
Risk banking management,
Calculation of risk bearing capacity,
Stress tests,
Development of rating models,
Development of scorecards,
Business analytics.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Wuppertal/Düsseldorf is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Your profile
Graduate from Business School or University, you ideally have a mathematical background and a previous experience in programming (SAS or SQL).
You speak English, German and French fluently.
You have good command of MS Office.
Your career path
