Environment

At Societe Generale you will be joining the Coverage & Investment Banking Division, which offers a global coverage approach focused on strategic dialogue with clients. Building on long-term relationships based on trust, its teams promote to clients the whole range of services offered by SG CIB and the Group, with a particular focus on investment banking and commercial banking activities.

Corporate Finance has an integrated worldwide set-up offering a comprehensive range of advisory and capital raising services to accompany its clients thanks to strong sector and product knowledge, and proven capabilities in both local and cross-border executions. The corporate finance activity is about accompanying clients on all of their investment banking needs from strategic advisory, mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets and structured equity transactions.

You will join the Real Estate Corporate Finance Team in Frankfurt and support a growing business. As a VIE you will be fully integrated into the team and work directly with senior bankers in the real estate industry, coverage and product teams on the origination and execution of Investment Banking mandates.

Mission

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

·  You will conduct industry and company analysis as well as company valuations.
·  You will support in the preparation of client presentation materials.
·  You will assist in the preparation, origination and execution of M&A, ECM and other corporate finance transactions.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE inFrankfurt am Mainis to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last12months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com .

Evolution

You will support the Corporate Finance team in Frankfurt and work in achallenging and demanding environment in the field of Real Estate Investment Banking. Thereby, you have the possibility to work with experienced colleagues on interesting and diverse projects in a growing industry and thus, to have a steep learning curve.

By joining our Corporate Finance Team in Frankfurt you will get insights in the M&A and corporate finance business of a leading European Bank. Thereby, you will have the chance to improve your financial and valuation skills as well as your research skills.

Desired profile

Profile

·  You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business Schoolin Economics, Management or Corporate Finance
·  Ideally you have past experience in Real Estate
·  Prior internships in M&A or Equity Capital Markets in a Bank/Investment Bank/Boutique are desirable
·  Numeracy & analytical skills are very important
·  Good knowledge in valuation is advantageous
·  You are proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
·  Fluency in German and English (written and orally) are required
