Environment

Our Trade Service division, part of Global Transcation Banking, promotes and contributes to the development of international trade with its Group customers, both in France and abroad. It is the centre of expertise in terms of international trade and the RESO entry point for the entire range of international trade products (secure international payment instruments, exchange risk cover, export receivables, management and funding etc.) It also provides trade transaction-related services such as documentary credit, stand-by letters of credit and international guarantees.

We look for a Middle Officer (m/f) in Trade Finance

to support our team in Frankfurt.

The Desk in our Branch in Frankfurt is promoting, managing and developing Trade Finance solutions to our clients. Furthermore it is actively acquiring new business prospects in close cooperation with the global Trade Finance network and related departments in the Bank.

Mission

As Middle Officer (m/f) you will be supporting a team responsible for the origination and execution of Trade Finance transactions and the development of Trade Finance solutions.

Thereby your main responsibilities will be:

·  You will closely liaise with and support the Front Office in connection with clients orders and will act proactively where necessary.
·  You will be the liaison for the back office in Paris and will work in close collaboration with them in connection with the monitoring and handling of client orders including all the checks that are relevant for handling those orders.
·  You will be responsible for the fee monitoring, fee management and invoicing as well as for the filing of all sort of transactions.
·  Furthermore you will be responsible for the scanning of documents presented under Letters of Credits.
·  You willmonitor and the manage the booking off of guarantees.
·  You will prepare the monthly business report and will perform all necessary work for establishing new bank-relationships.

Experience & Technical Skills

·  Commercial education / Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration
·  In-depth knowledge of trade finance products (letters of credit, guarantees, etc.)
·  Knowledge of middle/back-office tasks in the handling of Trade Finance transactions
·  Fluency in English and German, an additional language is of advantage
·  Proficiency in MS Office
