Environnement
Finance department of Hanseatic Bank as a German Entity with IBFS/EUR.
Finance department is divided into three areas, whereas one, International Finance, will host the VIE. Totally 29 heads work in the Finance department.
International Finance delivers financial information into the consolidated accounts of Société Générale in accordance with the SG accounting principles and of further reports.
International Finance has currently five heads including the head of the department.
Mission
- Support within the IFRS Reporting Process in Oscar2, which is the new webbased reporting platform of Société Générale. Preparation of several IFRS specific postings in the General ledger.
- Conduct IFRS 16 Project (Leasing). Analyzing the profit and loss effects, defining and testing booking rules. Write a process documentation on IFRS 16 and how it is handled at Hanseatic.
- Revise process description on reporting matters for the new reporting way and new reporting rules under IFRS 9 as well as regulatory needs.
- Analytical review on regulatory requirements like Additional Monitoring Metrics (AMM), Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) and reporting’s to SG for quality and process improvement
Profil
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Hamburg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months, but it can go up to 24 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Please see www.civiweb.com, in order to have more details regarding your financial indemnities.
Your profile
Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in Accountability.
You are fluent in English, and at least intermediate in German as the language in the department is generally German.
Ideally, you have a first experience in accountability. A previous experience in a banking environmentis preferable.
