Your environment

Join for a VIE Société Générale Global Banking & Investor Solutions (GBIS) within our Finance Department (DFIN) which covers 2 entities: SG Frankfurt and SG Effekten. The main role of the Finance department is the supervision of the accounting and controlling function performed in our offshore location for the 2 entities, the delivery and supervision of the regulatory reporting, managing German tax related matters and performing required analysis impacting the financial performance and financial risks of the entities.

As VIE in the Finance department you will support the team in various functions, e.g. regulatory reporting, tax matters, follow up of transfer of pricing agreements, follow up of inter-entity billings and management fees as well as follow up of current account & project management.

Mission

Your role

As a Finance and Accounting controller, you will:

·  Support the team in regulatory reporting, e.g. by analyzing changes and checking quality of deliverables.
·  Regarding tax matters, be involved e.g. in controlling of travel expenses and compliance with German tax laws, other tax law specifics.
·  Follow the transfer of pricing agreements, e.g. taking care of completeness of documentation and related bookings is another part of your job.
·  Support the preparation of German Balance sheet and tax declaration.
·  Follow the inter-entity billings and of current accounts as well as reconciliation.
·  Prepare documents for Review meetings (Business/Audit)
·  Be involved in different other projects.

Your profile

·  Graduate from a Master degree in a business school or university you have a specialisation in Finance, Accounting or Controlling.
·  First experience, e.g. gained through internships, in regulatory reporting, corporate taxes or/and accounting would be desirable.
·  F luent in English and German . French would be a plus.
·  Proficient with MS Office applications.



The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Frankfurt is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
