We mainly serve institutional (Hedge Funds, Asset Manager, Banks) but also retail investors and provide hedging solutions and risk management strategies. Capitalizing on our true global platform, SG CIB provides round-the-clock extensive pricing capabilities on derivatives, denominated in all major currencies.
Mission
Your role
The candidate will work within the EQD Asia (Equities & Derivatives) desk in Hong Kong and be dedicated to the Chief Operating Officer team.
The candidate will work on the following tasks:
Assist COO and Management on the follow up of the activity (PnL, Costs, Headcounts) with a focus on Sales side
Project Management – Lead and/or support projects within the business line
Provide operational support to day-to-day Business (Sales and Traders plus interaction with Support)
Control operational risks (perform, monitor and develop controls)
Help Heads of Trading Desks on Management presentations (requires a good understanding of financial products and operational efficiency)
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.
Profile
Your profile
You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Finance or Management.
Ideally you have past experience in Finance or Investment Bank.
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, powerpoint) and VBA.
