Your Environment:
Cross Asset Solutions Retail Sales in Frankfurt is a team of 6 Salespersons responsible to offer, market and sell Listed securitized products across all asset classes (Equity, Index, FX, Fixed Income, Commodities). The team is young (average age is 35) and has a long tradition within SG, that goes back to the first listed warrant over 20 years ago.
The team is developing, launching, marketing and selling listed products to both retail clients (B2C) via Online brokers and the stock-exchange and Intermediaries (B2B). The team is leveraging on SG’s outstanding pricing and trading capacities and benefits from the high innovation power of the bank.
The mandate of the retail team has a broad entrepreneurial scope. The maintenance and development of the retail platform requires a very good understanding of economics that goes along with deep understanding of financial products.
The B2B sales cover asset managers, private banks, saving and cooperation banks, ebrokers and Independent Asset Managers.
The VIE will mainly assist the sales Team to launch structured products.
Your missions:
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
As VIE you support SLS Team in Frankfurt in the daily tasks. This includes mainly the trade support tasks of B2B sales as well as junior sales responsibilities
You will get a deep insight in the retail mechanics of the business
The coordination between Sales, Trading, Backoffice functions and clients settlement teams
Preparation of client pitches and product presentations, creation and identification of business opportunities and the optimization the existing client database
You help to identify weaknesses in the existing processes and help to reduce the time spend on settlement. After sales support.
Support the onboarding, KYC and Creditapproval process
You will get a founded theoretical background of the Finance Business and will get the opportunity to take a deep look into different business lines within SG setup
In your role as a VIE within the SLS Sales Team in Frankfurt we expect you to become a real part of the team.
Your profile:
You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Finance.
You have ideally already done an internship in Finance with an experience in settlement
You are able to work with MS Excel, optimization and creation of Excel based solutions. VBA is an advantage
You have already worked with Bloomberg
You are fluent in English and have an intermediate level in German and French
