Job Description

As part of the SIEMENS Industry software MOM technical enablement team for Process Industry, you will join a team of solution architects, technical leaders, industry experts with several years of domain, product knowledge.
In your role as “Technical solution architect/lead”, you will be working alongside the other colleagues in helping project delivery service consultants embrace new products/versions and to implement our software portfolio products leveraging the best practices.

Responsibilities (Pre-requisites and Essential Functions)

Your primary responsibilities will be to
- Design & develop end-user applications based on SIMATIC IT MOM software products fulfilling customer requirements
- Lead/coach new service consultants/teams globally to embrace our software by working integrated into the project organization during the critical startup phase of the project
- Extend mentor-ship assistance to the project teams throughout the project life-cycle
- Act as trusted adviser to service teams for deep technical topics concerning the MOM software products
- Conduct & lead technical workshops such as blueprinting, technical design etc.
- Define hardware, network architectures based on the MOM software pre-requisites
- Establish best practices for implementing the MOM software
- Write design specifications documents
Your additional responsibilities will include
- Perform high-level detailed technical effort estimation for a selected opportunity
- Support other functional consultants in the team with technical topics
- Assist in developing product demo systems, other technical enablement activities
- Establish excellent collaboration with the product development teams with mutually beneficial knowledge exchange and support

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience (Pre-requisites and Essential Functions )

To be able to meritoriously execute your responsibilities it is required that you fulfill the following requirements

- You have a bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of software development experience based on Microsoft .Net technology. Out of which at-least 2 years in technical leadershp role.
Here below the required skill set:

o MS .NET technology and solid C#, Angular JS JavaScript and JQuery programming skills.
o OData (REST API), HTML5, CSS3.
o SQL server, Oracle, MS Entity Framework., ETL technology
o Knowledge of SQL Reporting Services and/or analytic tools such as (Power BI/Tableau)

- Proven experience in designing & developing shop floor systems such as MES applications or equivalent
- Experience in leading software application development team
- Experience in integrating with SAP system, automation systems such as SCADA, DCS systems
- Experience and knowledge in other MES, LIMS products solution will desirable
- Have strong IT affinity, understanding latest software technologies would be desirable
- You are fluent in English given the international nature of the position and Dutch or French would be a plus;
- Skills: Communicative, analytical, customer-oriented, flexible, autonomous and structured
- Willingness to travel globally approximately 30-50% of the time
