Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

· Drive developments in the field of combining simulation methods with data analytics (hybrid analytics)
· Develop methods for simulation based reasoning based on hybrid analytics models
· Develop wrapper to execute these hybrid analytics solutions in process automation
· Identify future trends and drive innovative technologies, algorithms and applications from ideas to products
· Acquisition, implementation, and management of research and development (sub-)projects

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate

· Successfully completed Master degree in mathematics, engineering or computer sciences (PhD desired)
· Broad experience in technologies, algorithms, and tools in the areas of data modeling (e.g. recurrent neural networks, support vector machines), smart data management (e.g. Mindsphere, Hadoop, NoSQL, data warehouses), real-time stream processing, data integration, data analytics and data presentation
· Good programming skills, in particular Java, C#, C++, or .NET, combined with knowledge of relational databases (SQL), NoSQL databases (Triple/Graph stores, RDF, SPARQL,XML) and rule-based systems
· Application experience in system simulation (0D, 1D), ideally with simulation tools like LMS Imagine.Lab Amesim, Matlab/Simulink or Plant Simulation
· Ability to learn and keep abreast of related emerging technologies, strong execution skills, innovation mindset and generation of futuristic ideas in related technologies of work
· Very good German and English skills in speaking and writing. Intercultural experiences are a plus
