Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
·
You will develop tools that use Software Defined Networking (SDN) for use cases ranging from automated buildings to industrial manufacturing
·
You will implement tools as Web applications to configure and monitor SDN controllers
·
You will program in an agile way towards the demonstration of a prototype
·
You will collaborate with our team and contribute to ongoing research and development
Your qualifications – solid and appropriate
· You are required to complete a mandatory internship under university study regulations
· You are a student of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar
· You have very good experience with highlevel programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
· You have good knowledge on general computer networking
· You are familiar with networking emulators / simulators such as Mininet, OMNet++, or NS3
· Ideally, you have worked with SDN controllers such as OpenDaylight
· You have good experience with Linux
We encourage you to evolve the topic of this internship towards your BSc or MSc thesis.
The duration of this internship is based on the study regulations of your university.
